抄録（ABSTRACT）
Ceiling renovation project for the office entrance completed 60 years ago. At the atrium entrance facing the street along Nakanoshima, multi-layered wooden lattice walls are elaborately assembled, which connect to the wooden lattice ceiling in the north-south passageway. The wall is symbolically illuminated and attracts the eyes of passers-by through the glass together with the illuminated plants. At the passageway, the single lattice ceiling is delicately illuminated by the lighting with narrow beam from the top of both walls, giving a sense of the beauty of light & shadows, and the horizontal expanse. The three-dimensional lattice ceiling, which gradually increases the height from a single lattice above ceiling, is illuminated by LED strips placed on top of the lattice, giving a sense of vertical expanse. These lighting methods change smoothly, allowing visitors to experience a pleasantly changing sequence.
