抄録（ABSTRACT）: The JIS Z 8113 was published in 1998. Over the 26 years since then, many UV-C terms not included in the JIS have come into use, and the international standard on which it is based was revised in 2020. In this situation, we have created a revision policy and prepared a proposed revision to JIS Z 8113 that retains Japanese terminology that is frequently used worldwide.
