抄録(ABSTRACT)
We Introduce case studies of UV-B irradiation for pest and disease control in ornamental plants, simultaneous control of powdery mildew and spider mite (UV method) by combining ultraviolet (UV-B) irradiation and light-reflecting sheets in strawberry facilities and other technologies leading to Integrated Pest Management (IPM). We evaluated 1: the effectiveness of this UV method in combination with the natural enemy in suppressing spider mites, and 2: the effect of the UV method on strawberry cultivation. This system enables sustainable and stable strawberry cultivation.
